This Valentine’s Day, Love Yourself

There’s a pretty good chance that you resolved to get healthy in the New Year.  There’s also a pretty good chance that you’re dropping the ball and eating too much dessert with too little exercise.  Maybe you’re having a hard time paying off the credit card debt from Christmas or you’re spending your nights tossing and turning in bed.

If this sounds like you, it’s time to change things!  It’s time to make your health priority #1 and there’s no better way than by LOVING YOURSELF.

New Year’s resolutions are a fun novelty but very few of us actually follow through, and that failure affects us in many ways.  A big impact is on our work performance.   If we don’t feel good, mentally and physically, we won’t be good at critical tasks.

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, perhaps you’ll commit to nurturing yourself?   And, if you’re a business owner, maybe you’ll find ways to help your employees invest in their overall well being?

Loving yourself means you’re committed to being strong (and no, we’re not talking about lifting weights at the gym.)  Loving yourself takes mental strength and tenacity.  You have to be the”protector” and set positive boundaries for yourself.

If your co-workers always choose greasy food and casino gambling for off-site entertainment, consider skipping those excursions and creating healthier options.  Maybe they’d  like a board game night?  Or a weight loss challenge?  Whether they join you or not, you have to commit to loving yourself first-and-foremost even if you’re on your own.

Remember, moderation is best.  You don’t want to go overboard and burn out before you see positive results!  You have to walk before you can run, so make your list of loving habits now.  We know you can do it!

Ways to Physically Love Yourself:
