We’d like to take a little time each month to introduce you to one of our amazing team members here at Focus HR. This month, we’re featuring Beverly, our Payroll Lead and Client Liaison.
Beverly just recently moved to Arizona in 2021 with her husband, from Shreveport, Louisiana, where she was born and raised… and boy are we glad that she did!
Beverly joined Focus HR with over 30 years of experience in payroll, HR and accounting. Her wealth of knowledge and experience has been a tremendous asset to our team and she works hard to ensure our clients and payroll specialists can work as effectively and efficiently as possible. She is passionate, driven and at times a little bit dorky – which we love and adore!
What you may not know about Beverly is that she loves teaching and helping others to be their best selves in everything that they do. She even took some time off in her career to teach middle school while her children were growing up, which she absolutely treasured. Now she utilizes that passion to teach our payroll team and clients how to navigate the complex world of payroll and timekeeping.
There are many things that Beverly enjoys outside of work but if she had to pick just one, it would be exploring her beautiful new home state. She loves exploring Tucson and relaxing with her three adorable fur babies.

She wants you to know that we all have a purpose that can make a huge impact, even if it is just with one person. And she challenges you to consider what mark you are choosing to make?
